Dressing Up In A 50s Costume
Some friends of ours were going to have a costume party and invited us.While that sounded like a lot of fun,I didn’t have a clue as to what to wear.
Luckily they had decided to have a fifties themed party.At least that gave a direction as far as what to wear.But what really typifies a 50s costume?So of course I turned to the internet and started searching.
The first kinds that popped up were greaser costumes.In particular Grease Costumes.Now that is a good movie and all but I had visions of everyone dressing the same.Can you imagine 20 to 30 Dannys or Sandys?
So I kept digging,when I noticed Marilynn Monroe costumes.With my wife being blonde,that I thought, would be a perfect fit!She would in my opinion be the best looking lady at that party.Maybe we would win the prize?
But what about me?Then I thought who better that the King.Elvis of course!That would be perfect for me.I mean who do people think more of and whose fame has outlasted themselves?Elvis and Marilynn.
