New York Manhattan is the smallest of the 5 boroughs that make up the Big Apple. Located on Manhattan Island, Manhattan is a major financial, cultural and commercial center of both the U.S. and the world. It hosts some of the major radio, television and telecommunications companies in the United States as well as magazine, news and book publishers. New York Manhattan is also well-known for its many famous landmarks, museums and tourist attractions with the major ones being the headquarters of the United Nations, the New York Stock Exchange and a host of other. Going back into history, Manhattan was at the heart of the New York Campaign that was part of the American Revolutionary War.
