If you’re a parent then you’ve more than likely heard of the Kids Chore Chart, but perhaps far fewer of you have heard of The Family Chore Chart. What’s the difference? It works better than a kids chore chart because Mum and Dad’s name are included onto it too. Having the parents list their jobs shows the kids that you’re not just picking on them to help our around the home. In actual fact, they will get to see in black and white, just how little they are asked to do when compared to the daily jobs that any modern Mom or Dad has to do. Verbal reasoning isn’t always the best form of communication in modern western homes, especially those with adolescent kids.
