New Network Ready AV Receivers By Onkyo
3D technology is the new buzzword for this year and probably the next as well. And many large manufacturers are releasing brand new equipment that is ready for 3D playback.
Recently Onkyo has launched a few AV receivers that takes advantage of this new trend. They have just shipped 2 mid-range models:
Both of these receivers are 7.2 channel models that come with the latest HDMI ver 1.4a inputs that will support 3D provided you have a 3D ready HDTV. The have an ethernet port that will allow it to be connected for internet radio streaming. When connected to the PC it will also be able to play music files stored on your computer. They perform to such a high standard that they are conferred the coveted THX Select2 Plus Certification.
They also come with the latest audio processing technologies like Audyssey DSX and Dolby Pro Logic IIz in addition to decoding the lossless HD codecs like Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HS Master audio. Multimedia fans and gamers will now be able to route the video output from Desktop/Media Centre PCs or laptops directly to the TX-NR808 and then through to the TV via HDMI.
