Why Fast Diets are so Popular

It’s somewhat true that a lot of weight gain can happen pretty quickly, especially when folks go on eating binges such as those at Christmas time or family holidays etc.

Sadly, for most men and women, shedding those excess pounds isn’t as fast as putting them on. The main reason for this is because eating normally again, doesn’t not automatically mean the reverse will happen. This is why the Fast Diets are so popular. Those who create, hype, and sell fast diets are actually tapping into a niche market and praying on the desperate. The main problems with fast diets is that they are potentially bad for both physical and mental health. Physical because the body is suddenly deprived of the balanced foods it needs to function property, and mentally because when we deprive our bodies of sufficient food, we become restless, discontent, and irritable, and that means we can’t feel of function as we should do. Additionally, fast diets, such as those 3 day weight loss plans, do little more than lose water weight which is soon regained the moment the dieter comes off it.

Look on the internet at any reputable online health sites such as those of governments NEWS stations (BBC, CNN etc), ad the expert opinions will confirm the above, and more, and hopefully educate people on the benefits of safe and healthy weight loss.
